Rare 1950s Limoges 24K Egg

This beautiful vintage egg-shaped trinket box (or pill box) is decorated in 24K gold. It is an unusual design for highly collectible Limoges porcelain. The brass clasp is tight and the box is decorated inside with a gold feather or leaf. It is marked on the underside, Peint Main Charmart Limoges France. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. This little box measures approximately 2 inches high, 2 inches wide, and 3 inches long. It is at least from the 1950s and could be older.
