The Jeannette Bottle Works Company was established in 1887, in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. The works pioneered making colored press glass and manufactured some of the most iconic depression glass patterns in the Adam, Anniversary, Cherry Blossom, Doric and Pansy, Floral Poinsettia, Floragold, and Iris. This wonderful pitcher and glass set was made in the 1950s and 1960s. The white Hellenic/Roman figures with a soft green background is reminiscent of Wedgwood Jasperware.
The pitcher and glasses are in very good vintage condition. They have been used and show some light wear, but it would seem that they were used gently.
